I have been observing Genius Juice from the sidelines ever since they aired on Shark Tank. Despite many naysayers, the company has come far and has a concrete exit plan hot on the heels of Vita Coco, Zico and other similar brands. While I think their move into the crowded "wellness shots" space is not the best use of capital, I do think that it will drive an increase in the shelf space they occupy leading to improved brand awareness.

Getting money out of a Crowd SAFE requires a "hard exit" and Mr. Bing is focused on a realistic one. Besides, Costco is a huge moat. Looking forward to supporting a good product and getting my money out at the end of it.

This investment adds to my portfolio of Asian-inspired beverage brands - Dokkabier (via WeFunder), and West 32 Soju (via StartEngine). Asian-inspired flavors are having a moment and Lunar, in my assessment, has a strong enough brand to build that momentum into organic growth. The Costco launch ought to provide a lot of traction and add fuel to the fire. A perhaps little-known fact is that Costco is a stronghold of Asian-American households. I am looking forward to the journey.

I love food franchise plays. I am an investor in Domino's, Chipotle, Shake Shack, and BurgerFi. People gotta eat! I am intrigued by the Hawaiian Bros. concept and I think it can at least be a hook for people to give them a try. Based on progress so far, it looks also like they keep coming back - always a good sign.

Honestly, I just love the product. It's something the kid version of me would froth at the mouth for. I strongly considered purchasing it when I built my home office too, but it was just out of my budget range. It is a premium product for a niche market, but I do think it has its place. With recent expansions into accessibility, I believe in their potential to grow.

Austin has established itself as a socially liberal enclave in an otherwise fiscally conservative context. A perfect marriage with a wide moat for folks fleeing the coastal cities.

On the higher end of the real estate market, Miami is one of the winners of the recent moves from coastal cities. In the short- to medium-term, climate change and adverse climate events do not seem to be a risk to real estate at this level, as otherwise good weather and favorable tax conditions are winning out.

I am excited for Jane West to dominate the underserved "cannabis for women" market. Similar to the sexual wellness raises on Republic (Bloomi, Quim), I think Jane West's products come with a unique understanding of its target customers that will serve as a strategic advantage. Luxury Ayurveda brands have been growing in their home markets with interest from the likes of Puig and Estée Lauder. Spurred by their massive Instagram fan community, and celebrity endorsements for their products, Surya Spa has already shown that it can BE that brand for a receptive Western audience. I am looking forward to supporting them in that journey.

Really impressed by how the company has been bootstrapped so far. Excited that the fuel output is backward-compatible with existing oil-based engines. This means that replacement can begin as soon as scalability is achieved. The plan for achieving that scalability seems to be in place. Best wishes to the team!
