Kevin founded KW Angel Fund after joining companies at the seed stage to help scale businesses to a Series A fundraising and beyond. He helped scale three startups from less than 10 employees to over 100+ including scaling MoPub from $0 to over $250M+ as the first business hire. He helped lead business through MoPub’s acquisition by Twitter in 2013. As an angel investor, Kevin looks for strong product/engineering founded teams that are focused on building technology and addressing transparent problems in the market. Investments include Slack, Rent The Runway, Electric.ai, mParticle, PetalCard, Attentive Mobile, Prolific Interactive, Max Ads & EliteDaily.

Lolita Taub — Venture Partner at NextGen Venture Partners

Lolita Taub is a first-generation Latinx operator and investor pushing for diversity in tech. With 14 years of tech experience, she has accomplished +$50M of sales and has written 12 angel + 26 VC checks. She's acting Chief of Staff and interim head of sales at Catalyte; a scout at Indie.vc, Venture Partner at NextGen Venture Partners, an LP at Operators Collective and Portfolia's Enterprise Fund; and a mom to the cutest Dachshund mix, Choco. 

Jason Tartick — ABC's Celebrity Angel & Entrepreneur, Restart

Jason Tartick is a speaker, angel investor and the Founder of Restart- a consulting company, vlog, and blog centered around informational and inspirational niche life hacks. Prior to his stint in reality TV, Jason was a Corporate Banker. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and his MBA in Accounting and Finance. As a Corporate Banker he executed over $100 million of lending to the companies he worked with, which all earned over $20 million in revenue. Jason’s business endeavors coupled with his charismatic personality has landed him co-hosting opportunities on show’s such as Live from E!, E! Daily Pop, The Bachelor and Yahoo Finance.


Fritz Desir — AWSM, BCG / ex-McKinsey

Fritz supports diverse founders through AWSM as a newly-formed venture school & membership organization. He's responsible for leadership, strategic direction, and optimizing for happiness. As a product strategist, he focuses on crafting digital solutions that realize new futures capable of positively impacting industry and people. Prior to AWSM he was part of BCG and McKinsey on the design and strategy teams. 

Jonathan Abrams — Co-founder & General Partner, 8-Bit Capital

Jonathan Abrams is an engineer, entrepreneur, and investor, who has spent his career building technology to help connect people. He's the co-founder and General Partner of 8-Bit Capital, a seed investing firm. 8-Bit Capital invests in startups that connect people and businesses in new ways. Jonathan is also a co-founder and Managing Partner of Founders Den, San Francisco’s most exclusive workspace and community for startups and investors. Previously he was the founder of the professional news discovery service Nuzzel and the pioneering social networking service Friendster, and a software engineer at Netscape and Nortel. Jonathan is an investor in over 50 startups, including AngelList, ClearTax, Clubhouse, Docker, Front, HelloSign, and Instacart. 

Natalia Martinez-Kalinina — Aminta Ventures

Natalia is an incoming Republic Venture Partner and an organizational psychologist and strategist focused on merging innovation, entrepreneurship, and community impact. She founded Aminta Ventures, a diverse coalition of South Florida female business leaders, entrepreneurs, and philanthropists passionate about harnessing the innovative power of women. She focuses on creating connected communities and vibrant ecosystems, most recently by leading the expansion of the Cambridge Innovation Center to Miami, seeking to deepen and nuance the conversation about entrepreneurship, and build tangible bridges to innovation hubs and Latin America. She holds a B.A. in Psychology and Government from Harvard University and an M.A. in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University.

Lee Fan — Hunter Pacific Fund

Lee Fan is an incoming Republic Venture Partner and Founding Partner of Hunter Pacific Fund. She brings a unique blend of operational skills, financial expertise, and strategic advisory to venture investing. She was most recently the CFO of GrubMarket as a cross functional strategy executive, with over fourteen years of finance and venture experience on Wall Street and in Silicon Valley. Prior to her entrepreneurial calling Lee was the Senior Vice President at ZZ Ventures, where she led investments in disruptive technology startups. And before that, she had a successful career in investment banking with Morgan Stanley, Evercore Partners, and Bank of America Merrill Lynch in New York and Palo Alto. Lee holds a B.S. degree in Economics from Duke University and an MBA from Wharton at the University of Pennsylvania with dual concentrations in Finance and Strategic Management.

She started her career in Investment Banking at Barclays, working in the Financial Institutions Group and Structured Finance. She holds a BA in Economics with honors from Harvard University.
