Founded in 2020, Gunzilla Games is building a cross-platform gaming ecosystem that combines AAA game development with blockchain infrastructure. Its flagship title, Off The Grid (OTG), is a cyberpunk battle royale designed to showcase a new model for digital asset ownership in gaming.

OTG’s October 2024 launch made it one of the top three most-streamed games on Twitch worldwide, with millions of hours watched. It also hit #1 as the most downloaded free game on the Epic Games Store, which serves more than 295 million users.

Behind the game is GUNZ, Gunzilla’s proprietary blockchain—built as an Avalanche subnet—enabling fast, low-cost transactions and developer tooling for on-chain economies. To date, GUNZ has processed over 487 million transactions across 14.5 million unique wallets. The platform includes a suite of SDKs, wallet services, and an integrated NFT marketplace to support player-owned assets and secondary trading.

Gunzilla has raised more than $120 million from investors including CoinFund, Animoca Brands, and Avalanche’s Blizzard Fund. The team includes former leaders from Crytek, EA, and Ubisoft, with creative direction led by filmmaker Neill Blomkamp.

In March 2025, the company launched its $GUN token on Binance, reaching $126 million in first-day trading volume. Notably, 30% of game revenue is allocated to token buybacks—directly linking platform usage to token value.

Gunzilla recently announced that in June, Off The Grid will launch on Steam, extending the platform’s reach to over 130 million new users, marking a major expansion for their gaming universe.
