Tracking your performance

The manage dashboard, pixels, and UTMs will help you evaluate the performance of your marketing efforts.

Understanding the dashboard

Once your campaign is live, you'll get access to a Manage Dashboard. You can leverage this dashboard to help track campaign performance.

You'll also be able to track investment count and volume over time to get a sense of how volume is trending. You should expect to see most of the volume coming in at the beginning and end of the campaign with spikes in the middle that correspond to marketing pushes from your team or ours.

The Investors tab in the Manage Dashboard will also allow you to track changes to individual investments and message investors individually on the platform. This can be a helpful way to address cancellations and decreases.

Investment cancellations and decreases

Investors are able to cancel or decrease their investments until 48 hours before the campaign deadline. After that point they can increase their
investment, but they cannot cancel or decrease it.

You can track individual cancellations in the Investors tab of the Manage Dashboard

You can message individual investors using the message icon on the right-hand side of the page. You can only message each investor once a day.

You can also message groups of investors via the Manage Dashboard

It's a good idea to get into the habit of checking the Manage Dashboard every couple of weeks so that you can send a quick note over to cancelled and decreased investors.

Pixels

A pixel is a piece of code launched on a website that lets you measure, optimize and build audiences for your marketing campaigns. Pixels can be used for creating custom audiences, reaching people most likely to take an action, and measuring the results of your ads.
You can add your tracking pixels from the “Marketing Tools” section in your Manage page.

Can I add pixels to the invest page?: You can set up Meta, GA, and Twitter tracking pixels for your campaign by visiting the “Marketing Tools” section of the manage dashboard and clicking on “Setup tracking pixels.” This will allow you to track page views, investments, and add to cart (investors who start the invest flow but don’t finish it). Please note that we are not able to build any additional custom pixels for campaigns or share the Republic pixel.

Can the Looker report be customized?: We can add additional people to the Looker report so that they receive the emails and our team can also send the Looker report in csv format upon request. No other customization of the looker report is available.

Can we install other platform pixels that are not listed in the manage dashboard?: We don't allow other pixels on our website for security purposes. At this time our platform only supports tracking pixels for Google, Meta, and Twitter. Please refer to this guide for additional information regarding what we are able to track.

UTMs and Looker Reports

UTM codes are bits of text you can add to a link that tell Google Analytics (as well as other analytics tools) a little bit more information about each link. UTM codes help you track the performance of each of those links so you can see where your traffic is coming from. You can use the UTM variables within the link to track general information, like how much traffic you’re getting from social media. You can also use them to track fine details, like how much investment volume came from a specific email. How does Republic use UTMs?: - Republic provides four basic UTMs to issuers so that you can track the visitors to your campaign page and your conversation rates (how many visitors actually make an investment). This data helps both of our teams determine how well various efforts are performing.
- Issuers are provided with UTMs specific to their website, email, and social channels, as well as one for generic purposes, but we encourage you to customize them even further if you’d like to get deeper insights.
- The tracking data that is collected during your campaign will be compiled in a Looker data analytics report that you'll receive daily once the offering launches.
