I love the design of the shoes and the fact that they are 110% sustainable. There are lots of cool investments out there, but not many that change an industry as dramatically as AERA. I think we will see more companies pushing for sustainable production and I applaud each that actually gets it right, like AERA. almost 2 years ago

I saw Zephyr on CNN and Meet the Drapers and thought that they could both create better revenue for air carriers and better flying experience for travelers. I intend to investigate further and expand my participation in the future. almost 2 years ago

Always question, how much can I lose, not how much can I make.

What I look for in a startup

"In my experience, the most effective way to obtain that knowledge is to Follow the Smart Money – the money from investors who understand the market, and who have massive resources to learn and dissect market information."

What I look for in a team

"I look for experienced, driven founders that can work a room. The idea is just part of what makes the investment work, the rest is drive and the ability to draw in experienced team members."

Sectors I invest in

"I invest in Fintech, Retail, Gaming, and Biotech, and I’m most impressed by a unique idea with a strong team that has experience. If there is IP or residual value within the company, all the better."
