We are proud and excited to announce that Sally Thornton has joined our Advisory Board.
Sally is a thought leader in the future of work, helping companies understand the power of people and meritocracy to drive outcomes, grow inclusive teams, and make better decisions. As the Founder and CEO of Forshay - a leading talent and workplace improvement consultancy - Sally has extensive experience addressing the unique needs of the world's most remarkable companies, including Airbnb, IDEO, Genentech, Cisco, and EA. Before creating Forshay, Sally co-founded Flexperience in 2006, growing it into a nationally acclaimed talent firm that the San Francisco Business Times listed as one of its 2010 “Top 100 Fastest Growing Private Companies.”
Sally is also the Founder and CEO of Worklab, an accelerator that applies design thinking, lean startup methodology, and storytelling skills to the most challenging problems in the workplace. Sally has been featured by the Wall Street Journal, KQED radio, Forbes, NBC11 News, ABC7 News, Entrepreneur, ABC’s View From the Bay, and BNET.com. She has presented at many conferences and is a regular guest lecturer at the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business and the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Sally is a frequent keynote speaker, discussing talent recruitment and engagement strategies, how to increase the number of women in leadership, and how to apply research on happiness and meaningfulness to create a practical work-life blend. She is honored to serve on the advisory council of Stanford’s Clayman Institute for Gender Research, the educational partner of LeanIn.org.
