Mims gained widespread recognition and success with his debut single, "This Is Why I'm Hot," which was released in 2007. The song quickly became a hit, topping the Billboard Hot 100 chart and earning Mims a significant place in the hip-hop scene. Since then, it's sold over 5 million singles, and earned an estimated $16 million dollars.
