As reported by TechCrunch, Republic Realm, our metaverse division, just secured a Series A round led by Arianna Simpson of a16z with participation from Coinbase Ventures, Valor Equity Partners, and other prominent VCs and angel investors. Janine Yorio, who previously co-led Republic's Real Estate division and launched Republic Realm in early 2021, will serve as the company's CEO.
In conjunction with this spinout, Republic Realm has been re-branded as Everyrealm. As an independent company affiliated with the Republic ecosystem, Everyrealm will have the flexibility and autonomy needed to realize its vision for the metaverse, NFTs, and web3. Our entire team is committed to supporting Everyrealm's vision of becoming a leading force in this nascent, fast-growing industry.
