Over the past few weeks, the Euro has grown increasingly closer to parity with the US dollar. As of July 12, 2022, it’s at $1.005, which is the lowest the Euro has been since 2002. While some Americans may start hastily planning their next trip to Europe, it’s noteworthy to mention that the Federal Reserve’s interest rate increases have helped bolster the dollar, while turmoil with the Russian invasion of Ukraine has harmed the Euro.
