I’ve sent my crypto payment for a crypto offering but am still seeing a required action item. How do I know my payment went through?
If you have completed the transaction, you may still need to take action on the Republic platform in order to secure your spot in the offering. To make sure we can match your payment with your investment commitment, you are required to submit your transaction hash.
To find your transaction hash, identify your wallet address and search for it on etherscan. On etherscan, you should see a transaction that looks like this:
“Method” should be transfer
“From” should be your given address
“To” should be “Centre: USD Coin”
In between from and to, it should say “Out”
Once you have this, click the transaction hash (first field) to and scroll down until you see “ERC-20 Tokens Transferred”:
“From” should be followed your address
“To” should be followed by one of issuer's addresses (You can hover over it to see the full address)
USDC amount should match the committed investment amount
If any of this is incorrect, the transaction is incorrect. Please note that if you have made a mistake in sending your payment, there is nothing that the issuer or Republic can do to help you retrieve your funds. If the above information is correct, you can submit the transaction hash you ended up clicking on (to take you to the second page) by viewing your investment commitment at republic.com/portfolio. Neither Republic nor the issuer shall have any liability to you with respect to an incorrect payment.
If the Republic and the issuer's team cannot locate your payment or if we suspect any issues with your payment, we will reach out to you directly. If you’re not sure about the status of your payment, reach out to the Capital R team at investors@thecapitalr.co.
