What fees does Republic charge?
Republic charges a nominal administrative fee* to investors for most investment commitments. Similar to a vast number of financial institutions and intermediaries like Republic, this administrative fee is in place to offset a portion of the overhead costs associated with the operations of our business.
The administrative fee that is assessed is typically 2% with a minimum of $5 and maximum cap of $300. However, this may vary by offering.
Admin fees can be refunded to investors if and only if an offering is canceled or withdrawn. These refunds will be returned to the card or account it originated from. If the card or account is no longer in use or available, Republic will make reasonable efforts to obtain new bank information from the investor in order to return the funds.
Admin fees will not be refunded if an investment commitment is cancelled at the decision of the investor.
Please see Republic’s Terms of Service for more information.
*These administrative fees are typically applied to offerings hosted by OpenDeal Portal LLC and OpenDeal Broker LLC. Some offerings through Republic Deal Room Advisor LLC may charge other fees to investors. Find more information here.
