Republic is here to empower people to invest in the companies that will shape our collective future. This means getting in on the ground floor of high-growth companies that could become the next Bumble or Google. We are creating an entirely new investment ecosystem, where opportunity is more evenly distributed than ever before.
In today’s status quo, where wealth equals decision-making power, many investment opportunities occur behind closed doors. A select few determine which companies are worthy of the support to grow to the scale where they shape our economy and our culture.Â
We think it is high time for this to change. When more people have the opportunity to vote with their dollars and support founders whose vision they share, this decision-making power becomes democratized.Â
The Republic Venture Partners believe in building a community of investors that seeks to support diverse founders. They have been our champions since day one, and continue to support our mission.
When we kicked off the program a year ago, we found a cohort of 28 investors, operators, mentors, and badasses that were on board to help Republic lift off. Little did we know that a year later we would have 140 of these incredible people connecting us with hundreds of amazing companies who are ready to start their journey with Republic.
Read about the accomplishments of the Republic Venture Partner Programs in our first Annual Report. To learn more about all of the Republic Venture Programs, visit our website.
Finally, please join us in welcoming the VP5 Cohort to the Republic community. As Republic continues to grow, so too does the Venture Partner Program. Looking to the future we will continue to refine the program to nurture mutually beneficial relationships and hone in on the quality of investment opportunities we bring to you, our investors.
This incredible cohort brings renowned LPs, GPs, angels, accelerators, and operators including Techstars, Miami Angels, On Deck, and more. They have already hit the ground running referring excellent companies to raise on Republic and engaging with the VP community to conspire on supporting diverse founders and fundamentally changing the VC ecosystem.
We're on a mission to democratize private investing and access to capital. Join us.
