Terms and Conditions

1. Eligibility:

• Entrants must be at least 18 years old at the entry time.

• A valid, government-issued ID is required for identity and age verification for winners.

• Contest is open globally, except in jurisdictions where prohibited.

• All entrants must possess a valid email and an active Republic account.

2. Contest Period:

• Begins: April 9, 2024, 12:00 PM EST

• Ends: April 16, 2024, 11:59 PM EST

3. How to Enter:

• No purchase necessary to enter or win.

• Earn points by completing tasks as outlined on the contest page.

• Points for each task are predetermined and specified on the contest page.

• A publicly accessible leaderboard displays participants' rankings.

• Republic reserves the right to introduce new tasks post-launch.

• Entries deemed incomplete or fraudulent will be disqualified.

4. Prizes:

• Grand Prize (1 Winner): Trip for two to a rocket launch in 2024. Includes round-trip airfare for two from the same location, a 2-night hotel stay, launch sight transfer, and a premium swag pack. Total prize value capped at $2,500; winners cover any excess. If unable to travel or preferring not to, the winner can opt for a $2,500 deposit of Notes into their Republic wallet as an alternative to the trip.

• Second Place (1 Winner): Transparent speaker, premium Republic-branded swag pack, and Stojo bottle. Approximate value: $1,100.

• Third Place (1 Winner): Premium Republic branded swag pack. Approximate value: $200 each.

• Fourth Place (7 Winners): $100 in crypto dropped into winners’ Republic wallets. Crypto may vary.

• 10 more winners will be picked at random among those users who collected at least 85 points in the giveaway tasks. These 10 winners will receive $20 in cryto dropped into their Republic wallets. Crypto may vary.

5. Winner Selection:

• Based on total points on the leaderboard.

• Ties resolved by random selection.

• Winners must respond to the email notification within 5 business days.

• Unclaimed or ineligible prizes may be reassigned.

6. General Conditions:

• Compliance with all contest rules is mandatory.

• Prize acceptance permits Republic to use winner’s likeness for promotion.

• Prizes are non-transferable; substitutions may be made by Republic.

• Prize winners bear all taxes and fees.

• Republic is not liable for entry errors due to technical issues.

7. Liability and Release:

• Participants absolve Republic from any injury or damage resulting from contest entry or prize receipt/use.

8. Privacy:

• Entry information is protected by Republic’s Privacy Policy.

9. Acknowledgment:

• Participation signifies agreement to these terms.

10. Legal Disclaimer:

The information provided in the Republic Note Launch Contest ("Contest") terms and conditions is for general informational purposes only. All entrants into the Contest agree to comply with the terms and conditions as stated. Participation in the Contest is at the entrant’s own risk.

Republic, its affiliates, and its employees are not responsible for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or any other damages arising out of or connected in any way with your entry or participation in the Contest, including those arising from your reliance on the completeness, accuracy, or existence of any advertising, or as a result of any relationship or transaction between you and any sponsor or third party, whose advertising appears on the website or is referred to by the Contest.

No advice or information, whether oral or written, obtained by you from Republic or through or from the Contest shall create any warranty not expressly stated in the terms and conditions. Republic reserves the right to make changes to the Contest terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.

The Contest and its terms and conditions are governed by U.S. law and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New York State courts.

Entrants acknowledge that the Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with any social media platforms where the Contest may be promoted.

The Contest is void where prohibited by law. Eligibility and compliance with all Contest rules are the sole responsibility of the entrant. Republic reserves the right to disqualify any entrant from the Contest if, in its sole discretion, it reasonably believes that the entrant has attempted to undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest by cheating, deception, or other unfair playing practices or annoys, abuses, threatens, or harasses any other entrants or Republic.

This disclaimer does not negate any terms or conditions that entrants may have agreed to when opening an account with Republic or any other agreements that entrants may have entered into with Republic.
