Republic Capital announces its new Managing Director

Jess Berne Strombelline recently joined as the new Managing Director of Republic Capital. Jess brings a deep and diverse experience as an operator, investor, founder and community builder defined by over a decade of notable leadership at Summit, the preeminent community for tech and entrepreneurship bringing together notable thought leaders such as Jeff Bezos, Richard Branson and Bill Clinton. As a founding team member, Jess was instrumental in shaping the investor community and has played a pivotal role in strategic initiatives including the real estate acquisition of Powder Mountain.

While Christian Sullivan, the earliest backer and champion of Republic and co-founder of Republic Capital, has joined the management team of Republic Capital portco, Gunzilla Games, and Mo Islam is now focusing on scaling the tech media company he founded, Payload, both remain active Venture Partners of Republic Capital.

Jess and her team are committed to building a robust operational foundation and enhancing investor engagement and reporting. They will continue to manage and expand Republic Capital’s portfolio of SPVs and funds, supported by our exceptional venture partners and advisors
