Hope you and yours are well.                                                                                                                                     We want to share with you the latest advances we had during the last quarter of 2021

Our crowdfunding campaign is still live. We have been advancing towards the funding goal that will allow us to achieve decisive milestones for our company. For more information you can check out our website.

Despite the surge in COVID-19 cases due to the Omicron variant, we were able to continue  collecting and processing samples for our pre-clinical trial. Thus far, we have collected and processed 15% of the samples considered for the study. We are also holding talks with other medical institutions that can help us collect more samples in order to finish the pre-clinical trial ahead of schedule. The aim of this study is to validate that our technology is able to discriminate between prostate cancer patients and healthy donors, and that it’s capable of identifying specific markers within the captured CTCs that serve as a targets for novel targeted therapies, which will help physicians make information-driven decisions concerning treatment selection and treatment’s response assessment. The detection and enumeration of CTCs is performed by tagging fluorescently labeled antibodies, as seen in the following GIF, which is constituted by various micrographs taken with our imaging system🙌.

Additionally, we’ve started the design of a molecular panel for prostate cancer based on polymerase chain reaction (PCR) technology, leveraging the fact that the cells captured with our technology are still compatible with traditional molecular biology techniques and next generation sequencing technologies, one of our many competitive advantages🔥. This will enable the assessment of the genetic characteristics of the captured CTCs, leading to the identification of specific mutations that confer therapeutic sensibility or resistance to specific targeted therapies. We expect that the design of this panel will be completed by Q2 of 2022.

We are also working towards one of the biggest milestones we have in this 2022, which is to begin the commercialization of our technology as a research use only device by Q3. Initially, research centers and pharmaceutical companies would be our customers, and they could use our technology for various purposes, such as the study of the biology of cancer, to accelerate the development time of cancer treatments, and to identify novel molecules that serve as targets for new targeted therapies. To date, we have 11 letters of intent (LOIs) from different institutions worth a potential value of over $2.5 million USD.
