Our answers to recent inquiries!
Hello Everyone! Digital Dream Labs has received some inquiries regarding certain matters, and we are releasing the following information with respect to those questions.
Inquiry #1: Is it true Digital Dream Labs is working with a major company to develop what is known as “a smart speaker solution?”
Answer: Digital Dream Labs is working under a non-disclosure agreement with another entity for that development work, and there is an expected product launch that could occur in the second or third quarters of 2020.
Inquiry #2: Is it true that Digital Dream Labs is bidding upon some assets that are known as “distressed assets”?
Answer: We are always looking for acquisitions or purchases that fit with our technology and mission, and that could also benefit our existing user base. We have signed a non-disclosure agreement to review and will soon bid upon assets of a company that have been placed on the market. It is the opinion of management that if the bid is successful, there is a significant opportunity to expand the existing user base. The purchase will be funded with cash we have on hand. If the bid is successful, it is the opinion of management that the necessary support and intellectual property upgrading can be funded from existing operations.
Inquiry #3: Has Digital Dream Labs been awarded a significant grant from a major institution?
Answer: We engage in a number of discussions with many organizations to find ways to enhance the company’s research and development. Among the reasons these discussions are sought is a belief that the potential opportunities can decrease risk while developing partnerships for customer growth. A current discussion with an institution is under a confidentiality agreement that protects both sides. What is not confidential is that we will be applying for a United States Department of Education grant available through the Institute of Education Sciences this winter and a National Science Foundation grant in the spring of 2020.
