Troubleshooting
How can I disable my 2-FA?
We take the security of your account very seriously. If you have lost access to the device that holds your two-factor authentication app, or if you would like to disable it, please follow the directions below:
- Email us at investors@republic.co with the subject line "Disable Two Factor Authentication" or "Disable 2FA" using the email address associated with your Republic account.
- The Republic team will send you a link to Cognito, the third-party provider that helps Republic with identity verification.
- Investors must complete and pass the identity verification process sent via this link.
Once our team has the time to review your submission, we will either get back to you to request more information or disable your two-factor authentication. We highly recommend that investors enable 2-FA after it has been disabled to ensure maximum account security.
If your account has been compromised, we highly recommend resetting your password for your Republic account as well as the email address associated with your Republic account.
