Investing as an entity/IRA/Trust
How do I verify or go through KYC as an entity/trust/IRA?
You can verify the identity of your entity/trust/IRA on your Republic account through your account settings, under Investment Entity: republic.com/settings/investment-entity
LLC, Corporation or Partnership: Provide documentation outlining the officers and major shareholders, including anyone who owns 10% or more of the company. You must also typically provide valid identification for each owner (driver’s license, passport, or state ID).
Self-directed IRA: Provide an IRA agreement. This agreement is typically generated at the time of account creation and lays out the terms that you are the sole beneficiary of the IRA.
Trust: Provide documents outlining the trustees and beneficiaries of the trust and provide a valid form of identification of each of these people (acceptable IDs include a valid driver’s license, passport, or state ID).
Sole Proprietorship: Provide documentation verifying that you are the sole owner of the company. This could be an operating agreement or ledger showing that you own ≥90% of shares.
