Dear Asarasi Investors, Champions and Fans,

$503K$! AMAZING! This morning our fundraise hit $503K in total funding! Thanks to all of you, as you have directly made reaching this major milestone possible. We launched this fundraise here on Republic the last week of February and at the very beginning of the pandemic here in the Northeast US no less. During that time, given what was going on in the world, and beyond the concerns around the pandemic itself, I was very concerned about our ability to execute our fundraise in this unknown new world. To be completely transparent, to say that “I am beyond belief” would not accurately describe how I feel about the success of our raise here. Your faith, confidence and passion for Asarasi is incredible and I am grateful for your support.

As we look to close the round on September 30th, and with only 9 days remaining, I anticipate the round growing even more! According to Startups.com “42% of funds are raised in the first and last three days of a crowdfunding campaign”. Without getting overly optimistic, I am excited to see what the last week of our campaign may hold for Asarasi’s future. This new capital will allow Asarasi to grow exponentially by making strategic investments in sales, marketing, advertising, and product development/product launches among other planned initiatives. I am looking forward to continuing to keep you abreast of our developments and our growth from now until the end of the raise and well into the future.

I've personally witnessed many companies celebrating their successful fundraising efforts with high fives, publishing press releases and holding a party, as if it is the end of the journey rather than the beginning. While this is certainly a major milestone to be celebrated, in my view, this is just the beginning and the hard work continues. It is not the time to take our foot of the gas pedal. I will continue to work even harder for you as we move the ball further down the field.

In other great news, I have had the opportunity to do a deep dive on our Fresh Market sales data over the past 12 months since launching into their 158+ store across 22+ states here in the US. We are continuing to see exciting sales results and continued and accelerated reorders from our distributor, Chex Finer Foods who services this account. Please see the sales trends below taking into account the impacts of COVID-19 on the reduction of foot traffic in these stores from March - June of this year. Also please note that cold beverage usually follows a seasonal sales trend due to the changes in cold temperature across the Fresh Market Store locations. Please see the graphic update below for our sales at The Fresh Market for the past year and the projections moving forward for 2021. This is an exciting trendline and I am excited to share this major update with you.
