Funding
$175K funds raised in first 5 months of launch
Prior to our Republic campaign, GRID has raised $175K in funding from investors. Our largest investor so far is 11 Tribes VC, who covered our pre-seed round and is leading our seed round. We also have strategic angels on our cap table, including leaders in the no-code, EdTech and gaming industries.
The funding from our Republic campaign will cover 18 months of runway, including rapid product development, expanding our customer acquisition and discovery efforts, and boosting our marketing and sales teams and campaigns.

GRID is led by a solo, woman of color founder, Mariam Nusrat, who has 11 years of EdTech experience and 7 years in purposeful video games. Mariam is a Forbes Next 1000 Entrepreneur, a recipient of the Clinton Global Initiative Alumni Honor Roll Award. Mariam leads a team of 9 highly capital efficient and talented game developers.
While the journey for Breshna is just beginning, the GRID team has worked together for over 7 years in the field of purposeful video games. We are now coming together under a new C-corp to build Breshna and transform the video games industry.
