IP3 Q3 Investor Update
Hey everyone — quick update from the IP3 team as we close out Q3:
🎬 Leadership Update:
We’re excited to welcome Ramon Govea as IP3’s new Chief Creative Officer. Ramon brings deep experience across Hollywood film and TV production, IP development, and early Web3 storytelling. He’s produced content for Stan Lee and contributed to gaming projects for The Walking Dead — making him the perfect bridge between traditional entertainment and emerging creative platforms.
📍 Focus this Quarter:
Given the volatility across markets (trade, crypto, entertainment), we’ve focused on what’s in our control: building locally and deepening strategic partnerships. We’ve also held back on spending for travel and big events until Q1 2026 when things are expected to stabilize.
Japan Update:
Our Japan expansion is now slated for Q1/Q2, aligned with our partner’s updated timeline for launching a cross-border IP studio.
🎨 Web3 + Events:
Web3 art & event initiatives are also postponed to early next year due to market-wide downsizing across conferences and sponsors.
🏢 Culver City Space:
We’ve officially secured our Culver City retail location! It’s a former antique shop we’re converting into a creative gallery + event space near the Sony studio lot, Apple TV, and Amazon MGM studios.
🤖 AI + IP3:
AI is moving faster than expected in entertainment. We’ve been doing a deep dive and have partnered with Machine Cinema, an organization helping new creators explore and leverage AI tools for storytelling.
Special Session:
In the coming weeks we’re co-hosting a private 1-hour AI + Entertainment session with Machine Cinema for IP3 investors, creators, and friends. It will cover how AI is impacting the industry and how we can stay ahead. RSVP link coming soon.
Thanks again for your belief in what we’re building — more to come soon!
