While there is an oversupply of prerecorded video solutions, our clients are looking for an actual trainer who holds them accountable. They are searching for the personal touch and guidance, as well as the interaction only an in-person trainer can give you.

Unlike the pre-recorded trainers on the Mirror and Peloton, our trainers actually talk with you, hold you accountable and tailor the sessions towards your needs. All payments go straight through the App and our clients can cancel up to three hours in advance free of charge (other than big-box gyms and freelance trainers who usually charge for cancellations within 24 hours). Our goal is to provide a ten-star client experience with the option to change between different trainers, training types, locations, and times. We have product-market fit. We grew over 770% in monthly sessions sold from March 2020 to March 2021 and >50% this month only.
As soon as clients find out about us they convert at a rate of ~30% from signup on the App to purchase and we have a retention of ~15 average sessions per client (what is extremely high). Our client retention went up by 165% over the last 6 months and conversion increased by 300%.

We take a commission on every session sold
Kanthaka offers personal training sessions in 6, 12, and 36 session packages as well as single sessions – with prices as low as $16 per session.
There is a commission on each booking. We see customer paybacks in ~3 months and an average client lifetime of 15 sessions, with 30% conversion from sign-up on the App to purchase. We're growing by >20% month over month. We went from $79,625 GMV in 2019 to $155,999 GMV in 2020 and already made $135,000 GMV in the first four months of 2021 only.

The US market for personal training is worth $10B+. We project that Kanthaka will capture 20% of the market, giving us a targeted market share of $2B+.
Kanthaka sees a huge up-sell potential due to our underserved and committed demographic. We will create a holistic ecosystem that caters to our target market, which will additionally increase our market. As part of this, we plan to add nutritional consultation, physical therapy, stretching, and meditation into our personalized training approach. We already started up-selling nutritional products, apparel and are testing a subscription to trainers.

Kanthaka is currently planning a mass-launch across the US. Because of the capital efficiency of expansion, we’ve picked a widespread approach. We’ve seen proven success with our current markets, which were activated quickly and efficiently through word of mouth and marketing. With the support of our investors, we will be able to scale our marketing efforts and learn how to fully exaggerate our horizontal and vertical growth.
