From the lengthy process to the expenditures associated with it, there are a slew of pain points that make hiring quality candidates a headache. For the large crypto native companies with dozens of vacancies and thousands of job applications, it's a nightmare.
Here are four issues we know to be indisputable:
- Validating skills and employment history for a candidate is still done, at scale, by hand.
- PDF resumes are not reliable for validation.
- Both points above result in a lengthy hiring process, and can become costly (employee churn, slowed company progress, etc.).
- Poorly designed resumes increase the likelihood of a candidate being skipped over, despite having relevant skills.

Metaintro is the professional resume wallet for web3
Metaintro is the professional resume wallet for web3. The multi-chain custodial wallet holds proof-of-employment, proof-of-education, and proof-of-skills, replacing the antiquated PDF resume. Job seekers can access their wallet through a browser extension, which can then be used to interact with web3 job applications.
The network runs on the NEAR blockchain (eventually to be chain-agnostic) with a native token called $INTRO, which users can earn by validating credentials put forward by job seekers within the community. Learn more about the Validator Network here.
Metaintro was founded on the belief that the hiring process can be reduced down to days, not months. We believe that decentralization can eliminate the pain point of a lengthy time to hire and the costs associated with it, therefore allowing teams to build and scale more efficiently.
