Mirrorscape Joins Google’s Android XR Early Access Program

We’re thrilled to share that on December 12, 2024, Mirrorscape was introduced as one of the developers in Google’s Early Access Program for Android XR! Android XR, powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon chips and supported by Samsung and other manufacturers, marks the next evolution of mixed reality headsets.

This exciting milestone brings us closer to achieving our ultimate vision for augmented reality tabletop gaming. With Mirrorscape on Android XR, players will experience unparalleled immersion—seeing their game board seamlessly displayed in AR on their real table. Intuitive interactions like reaching out to "grab" minis or throwing dice become second nature, while players can still see and stay connected to the other players and the world around them thanks to the device's passthrough AR system.
