Intent to close offering

All,

Thanks for all of your support and I really appreciate the interest you have in Amplio. We are in the process of securing outside capital and as such we need to close down the crowdfunding efforts. The last day to invest will be Nov 21. Also, we will be raising the minimum investment to $5000. Everyone who has already committed will not be affected.

Thank you for the update Trung. Great news that you are closing outside capital - greatly derisking the money raised with Amplio's crowdfunding efforts. I am 100% in with Amplio!

Why is the minimum so high now? Doesn't make any sense...

@antonio-rioja we are trying to minimize our cap table and don't necessarily want more low dollar investment. You can add to your existing investment though without incurring the minimum

Man - You should have given a chance to invest your followers… You raised the minimum to $5000 without any notice…. Sorry I am out ….

@sagar-patel One could also consider this a reward for those of us who often commit early in these raises, thereby helping to derisk them for everybody else, helping the campaigns build momentum, and helping the businesses grow by providing capital for early closes, at greater risk to our own investments.

@sean-mccuddy There are different ways of rewarding early investors… I am in this space for last 5 years…

- Wefunder gives lower valuation to early investors
- Startengine gives more shares to early investors
- SI gives better valuation tier to early investors….

I don’t have any issue that early investors are rewarded… Only thing I am asking is a “Notice” that we are increasing the minimum… Anyways, a lot of investors will be out now… Good luck

@sagar-patel Thanks. Yeah, I agree; there are many ways to reward early investors. Most of the time, however, it won't matter. If I get 10% bonus shares or an $8M valuation cap instead of a $10M cap, say, but the company fails, then those early-investor rewards are of no consequence. And as you know, most startups will eventually fail. Broad diversification seems like the best bet to me. Good luck to you too. May we both enjoy some big wins in the years ahead!
