New Companies Added to Power Republic Note Dividend Distribution

Hi investors,

Since our last post about the live Republic Note offering, we have gotten quite a lot of inbound questions on how the Republic Note Dividend Pool has grown since 2020 — so we made a neat one-pager for you that name the investments we have added!

As a refresher, Republic Note holders can receive dividend distributions when the Pool of proceeds from certain companies in the Republic ecosystem exiting—by acquisition or IPO, exceeds $2,000,000, or earlier in Republic Core’s discretion.

What do these "certain companies" consist of exactly, you may ask? Now you can easily dive into many of the exciting private positions in one place—right here.

Inside the 600+ Companies Powering Republic Note Dividend Distributions

If you have any questions about the Republic Note, or the 600+ ventures in the Republic Note’s fast-growing ecosystem, feel free to drop them in the comment section below and we’ll answer them as quickly as possible.

We will be diving into some specific cases next week. In the meantime, check out our live offering (open only for ~another week) here.

Thank you,

The Republic Core team

I'm looking at the April 2024 updated I see 4 great exits; Star Atlas ((Atlas), Star Atlas (Polis), Monkeyball and Dexalot. When will these returns be reflected in the Dividend Pool?

Do you have a spreadsheet for the company list like you had published last year?

Peter Green @james-hollinger the list is linked from the Note homepage republic.com/note — here's the direct link. republic.com/documents/republic-portfolio.pdf This document is as of Q4 last year, but we'll update it to Q1 this year in a few days.

Is there any reason why the Note is now valued at $0.06/ token?

Peter Green @jonathan-rahn I wouldn't say it's valued at 6c. This is the latest trade price at which one of the previous investors has sold the Notes. Since INX is the only trading platform where Note is traded and the liquidity of that platform is low, there isn't an efficient market to establish a real market price. You can see it by adding up the sell and buy side on the market. I believe it's highly undervalued and is a steal at this price!

Jonathan Rahn @jonathan-rahn: I agree that the Note is undervalued, but a good marketing problem to publicize the Note, beyond the Republic investor might help broaden the market and liquidity. It might also enable the Note to get listed for trading on some other crypto/token trading platforms?

Peter Green @jonathan-rahn we're working in a couple of directions on that front. Stay tuned! And thank you for your patience and support. The area is largely uncharted and many "tried and tested" approaches don't work because it's a digital security. But worry not, as there's no better team to chart new grounds in this space.

I have been all over your site. Where do we see how many notes we have from our initial investment? All it shows is my dollar investment, but what is that in total tokens or notes?
0 Like Reply
Profile picture of Peter Green
Peter Green @tom-merrell sorry I see we have missed your question earlier. If you click into your Note investment you should see the amount of tokens on the "certificate". Or by dividing the dollar amount by the price per Note (either $0.12 or $0.36, depending on which round you participated in)

Your 2020 Republic Note Reg A+ reservation is still reserved. It is difficult to say if or when that offering may be qualified by the SEC. No action is needed at this time.

When I view my portfolio on Republic it shows two Republic Notes. One for $1000.00 and 8,333.3333... tokens and says "committed" I believe that is my 2020 reservation. I also see a second Republic Note for $100.80 280 tokens the one that is currently open and it also says "committed". Please explain the difference in these two Notes. The cancellation was for a second $1000, which I did not want.

As a test, I proceeded to invest in the republic note offering. It wanted to charge my debit card. It only asks how I'm investing, as "individual / self" being the only option for selection. There's no way to connect my investment to an account, or log in and view the investment..

It seems that I am not the only one who “reserved” a position in 2020 and did NOT receive notice of the option to convert the reservation to a confirmed position. Republic needs to give all of us a reason you randomly selected those who reserved in 2020 for not informing us of our options. The option should be available for all that had a reservation confirmed in 2020. Please don't give us a canned answer to this very serious question. Thanks, Dan Beal

So back in November when I reconfirmed my reservation for republic note . You guys just pick and choose who will get it after waiting 3 years. Now I’m supposed to invest in it after it has gone up 300%. Who decided who got it at .12 . I patiently waited and did what I was supposed to do in November.

Regarding July 2020 offering, those who reserved their interest must be notified by an email to confirm their interest, But I have not received any corresponding from Republic note at that short time opening as one of you reply says..."We released a smaller allocation a few months ago intended for people who reserved in 2020 to invest at $.12 per Republic Note. This has been closed '
Can you explain it why?

Jensen Duy Vu @pravin-jagani Hi Pravin, we allowed investors to make reservation in 2020, and no fund was pulled then. We released a smaller allocation a few months ago intended for people who reserved in 2020 to invest at $.12 per Republic Note. This has been closed and for now, the Republic Notes are only available under current terms (republic.com/note-2023). May I help provide any additional info on our growth since 2020 to help inform your decision whether to invest in the offering?

1)What was the reason republic didn’t pulled the funds in 2020?
2)Why did I need to reserve Republic notes if no action was going to be taken?
3)Since Republic made the decision not to take the funds when I invested that I’m are no longer eligible?
4)Did every investor who reserved republic notes in 2020 treated equally, meaning was there other investor that benefited from the 2020 notes?

Thank you

I will PASS on this Investment. Successful companies don't normally do Financing unless the "Insiders" want to "Monetize" their shares and sell. This is Acceptable, but, my 1/2 cent IQ says that it is NOT a GOOD investment for me. So, I will PASS on this. Time will Tell ;)

Is it possible to invest the distributions back into the Republic note?

Profile picture of Jensen Duy Vu
Jensen Duy Vu @mark-bendigkeit Hi Mark, this is not a part of our plan at the moment. Each sale of the Republic Note will need to be conducted under applicable regulatory exemptions, and as such we haven't planned for such a flow. But I am glad to hear there is such great interest!
