Bucket List Studios Update: April 2026
Dear Investors,
I wanted to share a meaningful update with you!
While I’ve included the key highlights below so you don’t miss anything, Jess and I recorded a short video to walk you through a very special announcement directly. Our preference is that you watch the video first, since it shares the full context and excitement behind it.
You can find the video here: https://youtu.be/qQedl-PPuK0 and inside The Bucket List App.
Our New Partnership
Today I’m excited to share several important developments across the Bucket List Studios and the wider Bucket List ecosystem.
The biggest news is that we have officially signed a partnership with Big Shot Pictures, founded by Brian Robbins (former CEO of Paramount and President of Nickelodeon)! The partnership was made public today and was announced here: https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/business/digital/bucket-list-family-animated-series-big-shot-1236580374/.
This partnership supports three major endeavors:
completing and releasing the Bucket List cartoon
developing a pathway toward a theatrical film
expanding the long-term value of Bucket List IP through merchandising and storytelling
Importantly, this is a partnership, not an acquisition. There is no dilution and no change to investor ownership. Our goal remains the same. To create the strongest possible show and build lasting value around the Bucket List brand.
Big Shot Pictures brings deep experience building successful children’s IP, including projects connected to Nickelodeon franchises such as Bluey-level category peers like Peppa Pig and Octonauts. Their involvement significantly increases our ability to execute at the level we always hoped to reach.
In many ways, this feels like crossing a major threshold. We are now positioned to move faster with stronger creative partners and industry support.
Why the Journey Has Taken Time
When we first raised funds, we started to build the cartoon independently. As we moved deeper into the entertainment industry, we learned quickly that producing a meaningful global series required experienced partners.
We explored several large-network partnerships along the way, but ultimately stepped away when it became clear they would compromise the creative direction and message we care deeply about. That decision delayed progress, but it protected the vision.
The Big Shot Pictures partnership is the result of staying committed to building the show the right way.
The Bigger Picture
Our long-term vision has always been larger than a single show.
We are building a connected ecosystem across three pillars:
The Bucket List Family (storytelling and audience connection)
Bucket List Studios (cartoon, film, IP development)
The Bucket List Collection (real-world destinations and experiences)
The goal is to create a brand that becomes synonymous with family adventure experiences around the world.
If successful, families might discover Bucket List through a show, connect through the app, use the gear, and eventually travel to real Bucket List destinations inspired by those stories.
That synergy is the long-term strategy behind everything we are building.
The Bucket List App
We are also excited to announce that the Bucket List App has now reached more than 70,000 early users!
The app is designed to connect families directly with each other for real-world travel insights and shared experiences. This is something we believe becomes more valuable as generic AI recommendations become more common.
Desktop and Android versions will launch soon and will open access to a much broader audience and strengthen the community foundation behind the brand.
Experiences and the Collection
The Bucket List Collection continues to grow with active development underway in both Tonga and Canada. These properties are central to our long-term strategy of connecting storytelling with real-world adventure destinations.
We are also expanding group expeditions and planning future experiences, including upcoming programs in Reno-Tahoe, Berry Island, a surf experience currently in development, and a New Zealand expedition planned for 2027.
These experiences are where the vision becomes tangible for families.
Merchandise and Product Momentum
Alongside media development, we have continued building thoughtful physical products aligned with the brand mission. The map blanket, lantern, and backpacks are examples of products designed to encourage real experiences together as families rather than traditional character-driven merchandise.
Over time, this category becomes even more powerful as it connects with the cartoon and destination experiences.
How You Can Help
One thing I’ve learned through recent meetings with studios and partners is that engagement matters more than many people realize.
The most helpful things you can do right now:
Follow and engage with our content.
Download and use the Bucket List App. Help us build out this incredible community!
Continue supporting the products and experiences.
Partners actively review community engagement signals when evaluating brand momentum. A kind and supportive comment really makes a huge difference!
Looking Ahead
We are building something ambitious. There is real risk in trying to do something this big and we have always been honest about that. But there is also real opportunity.
If we execute this well over the next several years, The Bucket List Studios has the potential to grow into a meaningful family-adventure storytelling brand with long-term global relevance.
Thank you for believing in this vision and for being part of the journey with us. Your support truly matters more than you might realize.
With gratitude,
Garrett Gee
