INDEMNIS RECEIVED AN APPROVED PATENT! The foundation for our company has been strengthened. The key component to the Nexus is the inflatable tube that not only deploys the parachute but removes the attachment point of the parachute lines outside of the roll radius and thus prevents entanglement of the parachute lines with the airframe. This orange inflatable tube is made from a material called Dyneema Composite. To make the Nexus possible, Indemnis developed a process to bond or weld Dyneema in a way that had never been done before - and it is now patented!
What is Dyneema?
Dyneema®, the world’s strongest fiber, made from Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMwPE). DSM Dyneema® is a company based out of the Netherlands with over 10 billion dollars in annual revenue, they are the inventor, manufacturer, and marketer of Dyneema fiber. Dyneema® is 15 times stronger than steel and the number one use is ballistic armor.
Why is this important?
The military and many others have spent millions trying to bond the Dyneema composite and create ultra-light and high strength inflatable apparatus’… and where they failed – Indemnis has succeeded.
The method of bonding of Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMwPE) fibers and fiber-reinforced laminates is something that was a key component to growing Indemnis. It is the material science that makes our parachute recovery systems possible – and it is now patented.
Not only is this exceptional for our IP portfolio, this also vastly expands our ability to monetize the welding technology in other industries in the future. Any investment into Indemnis, also includes the Dyneema Bonding IP.
The opportunity continues to increase… please help us grow by investing and/or increasing your investment today!
