Announcing AlphaFlow's Series A Lead Investor!
We are excited to now be able to publicly share that Saluda Grade will be leading AlphaFlow's Series A and their CEO, Ryan Craft, will be joining AlphaFlow's board!* Saluda Grade's team is made up of capital markets veterans whose mission is to deliver institutional capital to the alternative lending markets. They first invested in AlphaFlow in 2019 and we see enormous potential to do big things together, like producing AlphaFlow's first securitization.
They invest in companies through which their industry expertise can make massive impacts, and we are so excited to have Ryan Craft joining our board. He's a pioneer in connecting cutting edge technology companies with the world's capital markets, and we could not be happier to have him as an extension of our executive team now.
About Saluda Grade
Founded in 2019, Saluda Grade is a boutique real estate advisory and asset management firm focused on the alternative “non-bank” lending sector. Saluda Grade Advisory advises small to mid-sized lenders seeking institutional capital markets expertise and delivering institutional capital to private lenders. Saluda Grade Ventures, the firm’s equity investment arm, currently manages two private funds. Saluda Grade Asset Management manages debt funds investing in transitional mortgage loans and distressed securitized product assets.
With offices in New York and San Francisco, the company is driven by a core mission to identify alternative lending sectors needing institutional capital to fuel growth. Its management team has more than 85 years of combined experience in the mortgage and securitized credit space. The firm has deep relationships with both private lenders and capital providers that allow Saluda Grade to bring attractive assets to institutional investors.
Saluda Grade notably led the just-announced securitization at Mike Cagney's Figure, executing the largest heloc-backed bond in a decade: https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2020-09-03/former-sofi-ceo-cagney-sells-biggest-heloc-backed-bond-in-decade.
