I love this platform’s concept of collapsing the supply chain, lowering costs, and creating both a better connection with businesses and a better social connection with beer lovers all over the world! This allows the consumer to have a truly interactive experience with their favorite breweries and enables the breweries to hear feedback and ideas so they can produce better beer! Fractional car leasing is a market that I see blooming and booming in cities such as New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles where parking costs are outrageous or there just isn’t enough parking to go around. I love the concept of a “two car garage in your pocket” AND you can change what you want to drive on a whim AND you’re not tied down with crazy lease contracts. I see UpShift becoming a killer app!

I’m a pour-over connoisseur and this is the first time I’ve basically seen an automated “Chemex style” brewer. I’m big on simplicity being the ultimate sophistication, so I love the design and the team behind Ratio is rock solid. The market for smart coffee at home is going to skyrocket in growth.

I see this frontier being as big as rideshare. Companies like Hertz are going bankrupt and urban costs of living are sky high across the country, which means a lot of young people don’t have the resources available to actually own and maintain a car. I see a lot of opportunity here.

Centralized smart commercial building management and efficiency is a market that I see growing tremendously across America and the globe. Tapa is the first I’ve encountered in the category. I’ve worked for companies in the past where the air conditioning wasn’t being operated inside the building during certain times of day/year in order to save money. This technology eliminates that entirely while keeping employees happy and costs down.
